Hazel Vernetta (Huff) Miller of Success, MO, passed away on October 3, 2025, at home. Hazel was born on January 26, 1939, in High Town (Clara, MO) to Jessie and Elmer Huff. Hazel was united in marriage to Larry Miller in August 1995. Hazel resided most of her life in Success.

She enjoyed going to church, reading her Bible, and serving God. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading books, and listening to music. She loved having outings with her daughter, Sandy, eating out and shopping. She was retired for several years and enjoyed keeping house, tending to garden and her love of flowers. A loving friend and neighbor and welcoming to all.

Hazel is survived by her husband, Larry Miller of Success; son, Tracy Miller of the home; daughter, Sandra Tabor of Success; son , Larry Coffey of Mountain Grove, MO; three grandchildren, Casey Coffey, Travis Tabor, and Jodi Cook; nine grandchildren, Trevor and Grayson Mitchell, Demi Metcaf, Weston, Bailee, and Leeyah Tabor, Daniel, Tyler, and Chess Cook; several great grandchildren; one brother, Lonnie Huff and wife, Virdia Kay; and one sister, Marcia Cavaness and husband, Roger.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Jessie Huff of Success, MO; sisters, Lucille Durling of Hillsboro, IL, Maxine Epperson of St. Louis, MO, and Barbara Moore of Fairbanks, AK; and brothers, Leon Huff of Hillsboro, IL, and Charles Huff of Sullivan, MO.

Hazel will be missed by family, friends, and loved by all.
