Hazel Hardenbrook Terrell, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on January 29, 2026, at Glenvue Health and Rehab. She was born on June 5, 1934, in Jacksonville, Florida to Rayford and Amy Gordon Hardenbrook. Hazel's life was marked by her devotion to her family and her nurturing spirit.
As a dedicated homemaker, Hazel found joy in creating a warm and loving environment for her family. Her talents in cooking were well-known; Hazel was particularly fond of fish fry's that brought family and friends together. She cherished these moments spent around the table, sharing laughter and stories, which were the heart of her proudest accomplishments—her family.
Hazel was a dedicated member of Restoration Pointe Church of God, where she taught Sunday School and her faith and devotion shone brightly.
