Mrs. Hazen Woods Rabenhorst

Hazen Rabenhorst 1918 - 2021 Gastonia - Hazen Louise Woods Rabenhorst, 102, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her home in Gastonia with her loving family by her side. She was born in Washington, D.C., and is the daughter of the late Millard and Florence Albin Woods. Mrs. Rabenhorst was very active in Community Bible Study for over 25 years. She was devoted to her family. She attended City Church, Gastonia. Hazen is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Rabenhorst Nifong of Gastonia; her loving son and his wife, Martin Capell Rabenhorst and Judy of Hyattsville, Maryland; 5 grandchildren, whom she adored, David Bradley Nifong and wife Joy, Brian Gregory Nifong and wife Kristina, Annie Hathaway and husband Nick, Scott Rabenhorst and wife Regina, Mark Rabenhorst; 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Daniel Capell Rabenhorst; son, Thomas Daniel Rabenhorst; grandson, Daniel Capell Rabenhorst; sister, Mary Margaret Woods Rabenhorst; son-in-law, William Henry Nifong. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at a later date in Maryland.
