Heath Joseph Woellert

1980 - 2023

Heath Joseph Woellert, 42, of Manley Hot Springs, departed this life unexpectedly on March 10, 2023. Heath was known to all as a happy person who would do anything and everything for anybody. He was well known as a mechanic, the "tire guy," and the "go to guy" at the Manley Roadhouse and store. Heath enjoyed fishing, hunting, mudding, and the peace and tranquility of being outdoors. He loved vehicles, spending time with family and friends around bonfires, and listening to rock and country music.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Larry Owens and Robert "Bob" and Lawana Woellert; stepfather Robert E. "Bob" Lee; and stepbrother David Lee. He is survived by wife Amy Woellert; son Mason; daughters Kalli, Kailah, McKenzie and Savannah; mother Lisa Owens (Lee); father Daniel Woellert; brothers Nick (Kim) Woellert and Trampas (Lynnette) Woellert; grandmother Ila Owens; and numerous extended family.

There will be a memorial service in Fairbanks for Heath at The Spur on March 25 at 4 p.m. All who knew Heath and Amy are invited to attend. Another memorial will be held in Manley Hot Springs on March 28 at 4 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on April 16 at the Manley Landing on what would have been Heath's 43rd birthday.
