Junnie Kay Green, 73, of Wichita Falls passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018.
The family will receive friends between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October, 18, 2018 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Rick Cody, officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling, Oklahoma under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Junnie was born on February 6, 1945 to the late Homer and Bernice Junnie (Riddle) Vaughn in Waurika, Oklahoma. She worked for many years in the Human Resources Dept. at the Wichita Falls State Hospital. Junnie was member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she was very active. She will truly be missed by family and friends.
Along with her parents, Junnie was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Sterling Vaughn, and a grandson, John Rangel.
She is survived by a son, Garry Green and wife, Tracy of Bowie; daughter, Michelle Rangel of Wichita Falls; 10 grandchildren: Brandon Mathis, Ashley Garcia Salas, Anthony Rangel, Jamie Rangel, Malinda Rangel, Lacey Rangel, Randy Rangel, Logan Green, Landon Green, and Robby Green; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter and one on the way; and sister, Homer Ann Hooper of New Braunfels.
