Heather Lynn Kauffmann

Heather Lynn Kauffmann, age 49, of Wells, MN, died Monday, February 10, 2014 at her home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells, MN. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 13, from 5 – 8pm at the Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Pastor Peter Soli will officiate and interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells. Heather was born November 5, 1964 in Tacoma, WA, the daughter Lewis Eldie Milks and Lena Jane Cooper. Heather was united in marriage to Gene Kauffmann on July 3, 1992 in Wells. The couple had 3 children, and later divorced. Heather was a compassionate person. She was involved with Grief Group, and mentored teens. She was also a home health worker, caring for mentally disabled adults. She is preceded in death by her daughter Jamie Lynn Kauffmann, and her father Lewis Milks. Heather is survived by her children: Randell Allen (special friend Jena Siegler) Kauffmann of Minneapolis, and Faith Gene Kauffmann of Wells; mother: Jane (Lawrence) Cooper of Wells; brothers: Michael Walter (Joan) Milks and Patrick Ira Milks both of Wells, and Joe Cooper of Las Cruces, NM; sisters: Chris Cooper of Wells, Susie Cooper of Las Cruces, NM, and Pat Cooper of Las Cruces, NM; uncle: Bertram Scott; closest friend Angie Angel Jackson; and many other nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
