Heather Diane Weeman, 48, passed away on February 13, 2026, in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Born on May 16, 1977, in New Jersey, Heather migrated down South with her parents and sister in 1989. She was a resident of Orangeburg since. She graduated from Orangeburg Wilkinson High School and remained closely connected to her community throughout her life.
Heather was known for her warm heart and gentle spirit. A shy yet compassionate soul, she had a natural ability to make others feel welcome and valued. Her love for books and movies led her to spend many hours at the Orangeburg County Library, a place she cherished deeply. Whether immersed in a novel or enjoying a film, Heather found joy in stories that sparked imagination and emotion. She also had a deep appreciation for music and sports, often sharing these interests with her sister Amanda. Their bond was strengthened by countless hours spent watching games together and enjoying each other’s company. Heather’s love extended to her pets as well—she was a devoted cat mom who cared for her animals with unwavering affection.
Heather was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. Weeman and Angela J. Weeman. She is survived by her beloved sister, Amanda Weeman.
Heather’s kindness and easy-going nature touched many lives. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand when she could and approached everyone she met with openness and warmth. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
