Hector Arroyo Navarro

Hector Arroyo Navarro, 47 of Elkhart, IN passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Center for Hospice Care- Esther's House in Elkhart, IN. Hector was born on May 8, 1978 to Hector and Delia Arroyo in Guanajuato, Mexico. He married the love of his life, Aurora Arroyo on August 21, 2010 in Elkhart, IN.

Hector worked at Moyer Electric Inc. in Elkhart, IN as an electrician. He was a man of many talents. He worked on his families' cars from tire rotations to changing the oil. He was very proud of having a well-manicured yard and completely renovating his home to provide a wonderful place to live for his family. He enjoyed spending time playing with the children in his family, riding his bicycle around the neighborhood, kayaking on the lakes and rivers in Elkhart, and grilling delicious meals for his family and friends. He was a very smart, very kind devoted and loving husband, son, father and friend. He had a wonder since of humor and very funny.  Hector will be sadly missed.

Hector is survived by his wife, Aurora Arroyo; his parents Hector Arroyo and Delia Navarro of Blue Island, IL; his children, Rashanda Anthony, Jazmine Arroyo and Diamond Arroyo all of Elkhart, IN and Roman Ambriz of California;  his siblings, Rosie Arroyo of Blue Island, IL, Erika (Fidel) Castillo of New Lenox, IL, Claudia (Jose) Zamora of Blue Island, IL, Rafael Arroyo of Blue Island, IL and Oscar Arroyo of Blue Island, IL. and several, nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

Visitation will be from 3-4:30 pm on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be held at 4:30pm.
