Hector Manuel De Jesus Rodriguez Aybar
On Tuesday, December 21st, 2021 at his home in Hyattsville, MD. He was 65. He
is survived by his mother, Agustina Aybar-Rodriguez, and his children: Liliana,
Yamaly, Larry, Dahianna and Taylor. He is also survived by his grandchildren,
Arthur, Lorenzo & Zyon, his brothers and sisters, Ramòn Isaias, Josè Daniel,
Damaris, Gladys, Ivelise, Loli & Yenni and a lot of nieces and nephews as well as
other extended family members (uncles, cousins, etc.), friends, neighbors and
colleagues.
He was a very hard worker and he worked until the day before his death. He was
always willing to help, was deeply loved by all of those who knew him and was
always smiling, even when things were hard he kept an optimistic heart. He was
very kind and had a passion for teaching and politics as he showed when he
graduated from the Universidad Autònoma de Santo Domingo, D.R. with a degree
in Letters, Literature and Philosophy. He went on to become a professor at multiple
well known higher education institutions in the country and also worked for the
local newspaper, Listìn Diario for several years. He contributed to the growth of
his favored political party, El Partido de la Liberaciòn Dominicana (PLD) and
continued to spread their values, culture and beliefs amongst those in the
community when he migrated to New York, the United States in 1991.
He worked the last few years at Queenstown Apartments as Building Maintenance
in Hyattsville, Maryland.
A visitation for family and friends will be at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739
Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 from 8am
until the time of service at 12pm.

El martes 21 de diciembre de 2021 en su casa en Hyattsville, MD. Tenía 65 años.
Le sobreviven su madre, Agustina Aybar-Rodríguez, y sus hijos: Liliana, Yamaly,
Larry, Dahianna y Taylor. También le sobreviven sus nietos, Arthur, Lorenzo &
Zyon, sus hermanos y hermanas, Ramòn Isaias, Josè Daniel, Damaris, Gladys,
Ivelise, Loli & Yenni y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos, así como otros miembros de la
familia extendida (tíos, primos, etc.), amigos, vecinos y compañeros.
Fue un gran trabajador y trabajó hasta el día antes de su muerte. Siempre estaba
dispuesto a ayudar, era amado profundamente por todos los que lo conocían y
siempre estaba sonriendo, incluso cuando las cosas eran difíciles, mantenía un
corazón optimista. Era muy amable y tenía pasión por la docencia y la política
como demostró cuando se graduó de la Universidad Autònoma de Santo Domingo,
D.R. (UASD) Licenciado en Letras, Literatura y Filosofía. Luego se convirtió en
profesor en varias instituciones de educación superior reconocidas en el país y
también trabajó para el periódico local, Listìn Diario durante varios años.
Contribuyó al crecimiento de su partido político favorito, El Partido de la
Liberación Dominicana (PLD) y continuó difundiendo sus valores, cultura y
creencias entre los miembros de la comunidad cuando emigró la ciudad de Nueva
York, Estados Unidos en 1991.
Trabajó los últimos años en Queenstown Apartments como encargado de
mantenimiento de edificios en Hyattsville, Maryland.
