My uncle was a great man that loved life and lived life to the fullest. His love for golf, dancing, music and sports will always be remembered. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. My uncle was like a father to me we shared many great memories together... I can honestly say that words can not describe the wonderful moments we shared because lived them. I will love and miss him forever... Until we meet again Tio you are always in my heart...

I was deeply saddened by the death of my high school classmate. (La Joya Class of '69). Hector was a humble and kind person. I remember sitting close to him at our 20th class reunion and I told him that I thought his wife was such a pretty lady, and he said,"Tendre malos ratos pero no malos gustos" Such a gentleman, as he paid homage to his wife. He has now joined his beautiful mother "Paja" and his dad, Manuel, "la Paloma". To his wife and family I extend my deepest condolences. I am truly sorry for your loss. May God's promise of an eternal life with all our loved ones sustain you.

Mr Flores was loved by the golf community and his contributions to junior golf will go forward through endless lifetimes. Always smiling with a ""Hey, Partner" to locals and those who came back each year to see him, Hector was the heart of Ebony Golf Course.
His love of the game was carried on through his son and grandson, and he spoke of them often with great pride as they became accomplished players in their own right.
His presence will be greatly missed. Thank you Mr Flores for your contributions to all of the lives you touched along the way.
