Our thoughts and payers are with all your family. Hector was a good friend and co worker during our time in DPS. A great Trooper and Great friend. I remember when he would get us to drive by your house Sylvia, just so he could get a glimpse of you. Hector loved you from the first day he met you. Our deepest condolences from our hearts.

To Hector 's family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked at DPS Special Crimes in Austin when Hector was a Sergeant Investigator and got to know him when I was the Commander's Secretary. Hector was not only an amazing Investigator but was kind and always had a story that made everyone laugh. Hector will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers
Love

My thoughts and payers are with you Sylvia and your children. Hector was one of my best friends. We went to the DPS Academy together we travel back and forth from Laredo to Austin. Later we play softball and played Golf at many tournaments. He was the one that got me to join the DPS, We just had a great time together. We had our ups and downs as friends do. My deepest condolences from my heart muchos besos y abrasos.

Dear Sylvia and children,
I am deeply sorry for the loss of your "honey" and your dad. He was such a kind and gentle man. I have many great memories of our younger days when our kids were growing up. Remembering the good times brings a smile to my face. He will not be forgotten. Much love, Mimi

My deepest sympathies, he was a great friend with an enormous personality I missed him when he retired. To me he was so sweet he was nicknamed "El Bonbon" May he rest in Peace. I pray for his family to have peace of mind and spirit. Love Stella Cano
