There are no formal services scheduled at this time for John Wesley Falley, 57, of Lawrence, KS. John passed away January 22, 2026, at his residence.
John was born on December 18, 1968, in Houston, TX, the son of Charles Steven and Annelva (Westlake) Falley.
John graduated from Lawrence High School in 1987. He received his BA from the University of Kansas in 1995. He worked at Martin Logan in Lawrence as a design fabricator before he went on to receive his MFA in Metalsmithing from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2007.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Wenger, mother, Annelva Rowland of Austin, TX, stepfather, Pete Rowland of Centennial, CO, brother, Patrick Falley of Laredo, TX, nephew, Austin Barnes, and niece, Jennifer Barnes. He is also survived by his two beloved dogs, T.K. and Ahsoka.
John was preceded in death by his father, Charles Steven Falley.
Memorial contributions in John’s name may be given to the Lawrence Humane Society or the Lawrence Arts Center and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
