Hector Daniel Jaime April 30, 1987 – September 1, 2025 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hector Daniel Jaime, who departed this life on September 1, 2025, at the age of 38. Born on April 30, 1987, in Austin, Texas, Hector was the beloved son of the late Roy Hector Jaime and Lucia Cruz Gallardo. Hector was a loving father, a devoted brother, and a kind-hearted friend who touched the lives of many. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Talia Jaime, and his former wife and lifelong friend, Elena Jaime. He also leaves behind his brother, David Fernandez II, his sister, Regina Jaime, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forward. Hector worked at Walmart, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly nature. Outside of work, he was an avid music lover and found great joy in attending rock concerts. He also loved movies, eating out. One of his biggest passions in life was Pokémon - he loved everything about it, from collecting cards to selling and trading them, always with excitement and pride. He was preceded in death by his parents, who he now joins in eternal peace. A Visitation will be held Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home, Chapel of Serenity, a Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:00 A.M, Monday, September 8, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church., 408 Fort Clark Rd. Uvalde Tx, 78801 Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Hector will be remembered for his passion, humor, and the love he shared with everyone around him. His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
