Ironwood – Heidi Marie Lehto, 58, of Ironwood, Mich., passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, Wisc.
She was born on July 10, 1967, in Laona, Wisc., to the late Howard and Donna (Brooks) Dumke.
Heidi cheered with passion for the Green Bay Packers, sang along to every Garth Brooks song, and had a heart as big as the world. She adored her pets and treated them like family, caring for them with the same warmth and devotion she gave to those around her. More than anything, she lived for her children-there was nothing she wouldn't do for them. Her strength, generosity, and unwavering love shaped the lives of those lucky enough to know her.
As we say goodbye, we take comfort in the words: 'Go rest high on that mountain, your work on earth is done.' She is finally at peace, free from pain, and surrounded by the love she gave so freely.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Lehto; son, Mackenzy Lehto; daughter, Dani Broullire; four brothers, Butchie Dumke, Timmy Dumke, Billy Dumke, and Chris Dumke; five sisters, Kathy (Henry) Patrick, Lori (Dale) Baldwin, Becky Dumke, Tommi (Terri) Quick, and Vicki Wojdyla; and granddaughter, Jaycee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Heather Thiedi.
A Celebration of Life will be announced and held in Iron Mountain, Mich., at a later date.
