Heidi Sue Shinstine Pedro
1988-2023
Heidi Sue was 35 when she left this earth to be with the Lord on November 14, 2023. She died from complications during child delivery at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Tucson, AZ on April 2, 1988 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Before she learned to talk, she moved to Germany with her parents. She learned to speak German at the same time she learned English. With her name and language skills, she was quite often mistaken as a native German. Not too long after she started speaking, she started singing. And there wasn't a tune she wouldn't sing.
She moved back to Tucson at a very young age and spent most of her childhood there. She took up dancing and singing. She loved to perform. She was a bright and shining star in many dance and musical performances. As she grew older, she had mastered just about every Patsy Cline song written.
She was active in Christian youth groups and spent many summers at teen camp in Virginia. She was involved in Liberating Ministries for Christ Int'l, Christian Training Center of Texas and Church on the Street in Tucson. She learned at a very young age how to touch people's lives with the love of Jesus Christ. She was always willing to take care of someone in need. Her singing ministered to many people in many places.
Growing up, Heidi desperately wanted a baby sister and prayed for one every night. Finally, in 1999 she and her family were blessed with Sarah. Heidi would mother her as if she were her own. She wanted nothing more in life than to be married and have a family. She got her wish when she met her husband, Robert Pedro and had her two children.
Heidi is survived by her parents, Lewis and Debbie Shinstine, her sister, Sarah Jean Shinstine, her husband, Robert Pedro and her two children, Rosie and Robbie. She will be missed by all. May she be joyfully singing and dancing with the Lord among the stars in heaven.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, 2:00pm at Snowy Range Baptist Church, 721 WY-230, Laramie, WY 82070.
In place of internment, a permanent memorial marker will be placed at Holy Land USA, Virginia with a dedication ceremony at a later date to be determined.

My deepest condolences to the entire family and friends of Heidi for their loss. Heidi was always a joy to work with and every time she came into the Workforce Center for assistance, she always brought a smile to my face. Heidi was always very kind to me and had a meek demeanor. The news of her passing was very sad, and shocking. She will be missed greatly! Again, my deepest condolences to all the family.
