Helen Louise Beaudry

Helen Louise Beaudry, formerly of Bartlesville, Oklahoma died April 18, 2024, in Granbury, Texas. She was born October 29, 1927, in Tulsa Oklahoma to Thomas and Helen Mentzel. Helen spent her childhood in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Helen started her career at General Electric and travelled between several GE facilities across the USA. She met her husband Jack Beaudry while on an assignment at the GE Jet Engine division in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jack and Helen were married on January 2, 1954, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Helen spent years raising her children prior to continuing her career as head of Quality Assurance Engineering for TRW Reda pump. Helen and Jack stayed active in retirement traveling the world. Helen's passion for playing cards and specifically duplicate bridge resulted in her achieving life master status. Helen has a sharp mind and wit which was demonstrated when playing card games with her family.
In 2014 Helen and Jack moved to Granbury, Texas to be close to their daughter and grandchildren. They spent the last decade in an independent living facility on Lake Granbury. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 2023 and her sister Mary Mattix. She is survived by her daughter Jeanette Scott, her son in law Tom Scott, her grandchildren Michelle Berggren and Scott Berggren, her son John Beaudry daughter in law Kellee Beaudry.
