Binkley, Helen M. – of Montrose, age 74, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Angel Manor. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church- 400 N Saginaw St, Montrose, MI. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose on Monday from 4PM until 8PM and on Tuesday at the Church from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designations.

Helen was born May 13, 1951, in Owosso, Michigan to the late Andrew and Esther (Shindorf) Birchmeier. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories. A proud graduate of New Lothrop High School, Helen graduated in 1971 and dedicated her life to her family and home as a devoted homemaker. On May 14, 1988, she married her beloved husband, Paul Binkley, and together they created a warm and loving household filled with laughter and devotion. Helen was a woman of strong faith and was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Her spirit thrived in the simple joys of life; she delighted in a competitive game of bingo and spent many evenings enjoying cards with friends and family. Helen cherished spending time camping and nurturing her flowers that brought joy to her. She and Paul would often attend model airplane swap meets, further bonding over their shared passions. Helen also enjoyed her days working as a cook at Gracie's. Helen will be remembered as a wonderful wife, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Surviving are: Loving husband of 37 years, Paul Binkley; Siblings: Diane Hawley, John (Gerlinda) Birchmeier, Jane (John) Oginsky, Ken Birchmeier, Janice (Marshal) Emmendorfer, Margaret (Jim) Hudecek, Bob (Dorothy) Birchmeier, Bill (Lynette) Birchmeier, Walter (Lori) Birchmeier, Irene (Terry) Sammons, Judy (Kent) Freeman, Dick (Connie) Birchmeier and Andy Birchmeier (Laura Tilson) Sister-In-Laws: Cheryl (John) Treischmann, Connie (Ralph) Jones, and Cindy (Nick) Wuest; She was blessed with several nieces and nephews; Many good friends. She is preceded in passing by her brother-in-law, Daniel Hawley, nephew, Terry Putnam. The family would like to send a special thank you to Angel Manor for all the care and compassion they gave to Helen.
