Helen L Bosh

Helen L. Bosh, 102, of Galion, passed away Monday evening, October 27, 2025 following a brief illness. She enjoyed a healthy life of independence, activity, friendship, and family. Helen was truly blessed.
The daughter of David and Naomi (Rhodebeck) Snyder, Helen was born August 7, 1923 in rural Morrow County, Ohio. She graduated from Iberia High School in 1941. Just the following year she married Lewis "Lewy" Bosh on September 6, 1942. Helen enjoyed her role as wife, mom and grandma supporting Lewy in raising their children. A talented seamstress, she made clothing for her children and many others as well.
Helen was always active and on the go. Six days a week she had an event on her calendar (Sunday's were reserved for worship), and she loved it. Taking day trips with Lewy, listening to local singing groups, playing dominos and spending time with friends. She rarely slowed down. Helen loved the community of friends and was a long time member of the Red Hat Society. She worked hard in her garden, tending to her flowers, growing vegetables each year and canning her harvest.
Helen was a faithful believer. A lifelong member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children Sandy Buck of Galion, Becky (Jim) Tuttle of Indiana, Tom (Joanne) Bosh of Galion; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; as well as extended family.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Bosh; son-in-law Howard Buck; brother Chester Snyder; granddaughter Carrie Buck.
Helen's family will receive friends Friday, October 31, 2025 from 10 am - 12 pm in the Richardson Davis Chapel, Snyder Funeral Homes, where her funeral will begin at 12 noon. Pastor Cindy Berkshire will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
