Helen Christian Obituary

Helen was born on May 24, 1927 in the Village of Capac to John and Eva (nee Keller) Klein. On October 25, 1947, she married Alfred L. Christian and they shared 40 years together before his passing on January 3, 1988. Helen worked as a bookkeeper for Alfred's company for many years all while taking care of her family. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 203, The Berville Lioness Club and Eagles Club in Imlay City where she also bar tended for many years. Helen enjoyed reading, word searches and puzzles. She loved going to the casino and never missed an opportunity to test her luck at the slot machines. Helen will be missed by her family and friends.
Helen is survived by her children, Margie (the late Jerry) Fetty, Charlotte Young, Alfred Christian, Jr., Jerry (the late Kathy) Christian, Peggy (James) Wolfe, Cliff (Brenda) Christian and Bob Christian; daughter-in-law, Denise (the late Larry) Christian; grandchildren, Jerry Fetty, Dennis Fetty, Jeffery Fetty, Zackery Fetty, Seth Fetty, Eric Young, Jason Young, Stacey Ferguson, Alfred Christian III, Craig Christian, Joseph Christian, Amy Christian, Amber Lustig, Bradley Wolfe, Jamie Sterling, Cory Krause and Robert Christian; 30 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Katherine Peterson; loving long-time companion, Art Molzen and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The visitation for Helen will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Tiffany-Young & Hauss Funeral Home, 73919 Fulton Street, Armada. The funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A dinner will be served immediately following at the Berville Lions Hall.

So was very sorry to hear of Helen´s passing. I have memories of my mom and dad going to Helen and Alfred´s house on Saturday nights and playing cards while us kids played together. Alfred and dad were best buds as young men. Many memories of Helen. She was an amazing woman.
