She found joy in her role as a mother to her two daughters, Valerie (Robert) Huffman and Nichole Coleman, instilling in them the values of kindness, perseverance, and faith. Her devotion extended grandly, as she embraced the roles of grandmother to Josie Huffman, Robert (Sarah) Huffman II, Jessica (Justin) Huffman Hazelwood, and Bradley Huffman, as well as great-grandmother to Isaac Huffman, Harper Harris, Marlei Hazelwood, and Ryleigh Smith. Preceding her in death were her parents, Harless Coleman and Pluma Green Coleman, her husband Glenn Marrs, and her brothers Walter, Herman, Homer, Foster, Larry, and Gary Coleman. These losses were significant in her life, and her memory of them lived on in her heart.
Helen is survived by her loving sisters, Joyce Coleman Curry, Cleo Thacker, and Opal James as well as her children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who carry forward her legacy of love and family.
