Helen was a woman whose life was defined by love-love for God, love for her family, and love for every child who crossed her path. She had a selfless spirit and a generous heart, always putting others before herself. Her home was a place of warmth and joy, often filled with the laughter of children who were drawn to her kindness and welcoming nature.

She was a devoted mother and an extraordinary grandmother. Mamaw Lou Lou was a blessing to all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished deeply by her daughters, grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Crigger; parents, William and Roxie Henderson; brothers, Kenneth, Russell, and Gerald Henderson.

Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Arnold and husband Tracy, Lisa Gibson and husband Greg, and Regina Britton and husband Randy; grandchildren, Michael Polson, Jordan Eul, Austin Britton, Eric Gibson, Ali Givens, and Sambo Barrett; great grandchildren, Britton, Ronan, Zoey, Luci, Penny, Molly, and arriving soon Torii; she was also Mamaw Lou Lou to several other kids; brother, Donald Henderson; sister-in-law, Linda Crigger; special nephew who she thought of as a son, Jerry Henderson and wife Sandra; along with several nieces, nephews, and host of friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10am on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Armstrong Family Cemetery with Pastor Greg Fletcher officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50am.
