Mrs. Helen Pigg Faile, age 72, entered into rest on Sunday, February 11, 2024 with her family by her side. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor David Grubbs. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
Mrs. Faile was born March 9, 1951 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Bennett Castal and Eula Rollings Pigg. She was a dedicated homemaker and worked her entire life on the farm. A lady who enjoyed cooking, sewing and fishing, Helen loved spending time with her family traveling to the beach and mountains. She could also be found at the local flea-markets looking for a deal. Mrs. Faile not only loved her family, but loved the Lord and her church, Jefferson Church of God.
In addition to her parents, Helen was also preceded in death by siblings, Lee Roy Pigg, Magdalene Williams, James W. Pigg, Floyd T. Pigg, Bobbie Sellers, and an infant sister, Viola Pigg.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Freddie Faile of the home; children, Freddie Dean (Katie) Faile, Glendora Faile (Ronnie) Jenkins both of Jefferson, SC, Tammy Faile (Steve) Blackmon of Heath Springs, SC, Danny Lee (Kelly) Faile of Jefferson, SC, Rodney Dale (Crystal) Faile of Mt. Croghan, SC, Lisa Faile (Britt) Rollins of Pageland, SC, and Crystal Faile (Donnie Hayes) of Jefferson, SC.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Deanna Turnage, Shane Middleton, Joleigh Middleton, Erin Jenkins, Emily Jenkins, Cameron Jenkins, Stephanie Blackmon, Kayla Blackmon, Christopher Parker, Austin Faile, Justin (Kaylee) Faile, Tristin Faile, Pressley (Kaitlyn) Rollins, and Gracie Rollins; great grandchildren, Haiden Rolins, Wrenleigh Rollins, and Graylen Faile; brother, Rev. Edward “Buck” (Linda) Pigg of Kannapolis, NC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
