Helen McNatt Farmer

Helen McNatt Farmer, 77, of Ty Ty passed away Monday, November 24, 2025, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Klay Luke officiating. Mrs. Farmer will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Steve Farmer, Bobby Farmer Jr., Matthew Farmer, Clinton Farmer, Steven Farmer and Hunter Farmer will serve as pallbearers.

Born August 27, 1948, in Coffee County, Mrs. Farmer was the daughter of the late Jeff McNatt and Annie Foerman McNatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers. J. C. McNatt, Willie McNatt and Burnell McNatt; and two sisters, Louise Smith and JoAnn Gaskins. Before retiring, she worked as a registered nurse at Tift Regional Medical Center and retired from Southern Regional in Riverdale and she also worked for CareOne Home Health.

Mrs. Farmer is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bobby Farmer, Sr. of Ty Ty and their anniversary would have been on Sunday, November 30 ; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby Jr. and Valarie Farmer of Ty Ty and Steve "Lucky" Farmer, Jr and his wife, Ginger; one daughter, Cindy Farmer of Ty Ty; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Charles McNatt of Boston, Georgia and Frank and Sandra McNatt of Bossier, Louisiana; one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and James Irons of Berrien County; and two grandchildren, Matthew Farmer and Natalie Farmer.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial gifts may be made to the Anita Stewart Oncology Center, 1623 Madison Avenue, Tifton, GA 31794.
