ANNVILLE – Helen M. Fetzer, 97, of Lebanon, passed away on July 1, 2025, at The Lebanon Valley Home, Annville. She was the widow of Robert N. Fetzer who passed away January 10, 2017 and with whom she celebrated 69 years of marriage. Born on Mother’s Day, May 13, 1928, she was the first born of nine children to the late William and Helen (Shay) Umberger. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Bill, Herb, Charlie, Clyde and Bob Umberger and sisters: Ruth Tobias, Kathryn Adams and Jean Piper. She is survived by sons: Bob Fetzer (Beth), Lebanon, and Cory Fetzer (Ann) Myerstown; daughter Pat Fetzer, Jonestown; grandchildren: Stephanie (Roy) McMullen, Tim Fetzer (Jenifer), Todd Fetzer and Josh Fetzer; great-grandchildren: Breanna Leibensperger (Dakota), Moira McMullen, Karter, Kendalynn and Tenley Fetzer; great-great-granddaughter Oaklyn Leibensperger; and several nieces, nephews and inlaws. Helen was a 1946 graduate of Lebanon High School and enjoyed meeting her classmates in the Lunch Bunch. She was a lifetime member of the Moravian Church of Lebanon, where she served as a Trustee, Sunday School teacher and Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her husband, cross stitch quilting and was a fan of the Phillies and Penn State football. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10, at Christman’s Funeral Home, Lebanon. Visitation at 10:00 AM, service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Lebanon Valley Home Benevolence Fund, 550 E. Main St., Annville, 17003 or the Moravian Church of Lebanon, 1115 Birch Rd., Lebanon, 17042.
