Helen Everhart Freeman

Helen Everhart Freeman, 87, passed away Wed. Dec. 14, 2022 at Beechtree Rehab Center due to pneumonia and declining health.
Helen attended Fall Creek Elementary, Boynton Jr. High and graduated Ithaca High School 1952.
After graduating from high school, Helen served in the Navy Reserves for 4 years. She was a bookkeeper until her retirement. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Ithaca. Helen enjoyed bowling and participated in may teams though out the years. In her younger years, she enjoyed going to the Ithaca Yacht Club, sewing, baking and playing bridge. Friday nights she could be found eating dinner with Donna and David at the Royal Court Restaurant.
Predeceased by her parents Delos and Rachel Hoyt Everhart and brothers: Delos Jr, Royal and Donald.
Helen is survived by her sister Margaret Wiiki; her children: Cheryl Freeman Baker and Douglas (Mary) Freeman, Jr; her grandchildren: William Rich, Troy (Kristen) Anderson, Tommy Anderson, Caitlin (Jessi) Bement, Samantha Baker, Karly (Ryan) Moehring and Jade Freeman; her great grandchildren: Harper R, Jaidyn R, Isabelle R, Jessi Jr, Harper A, Carter A and baby Moehring; her aides: Christy & Vanessa; nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.

A celebration of Helen's life will be in the spring 2023.
There will be a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
