Helen Garloff Obituary
Jonestown - Helen E. Garloff, 77, of Jonestown passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at StoneRidge Towne Center, Myerstown. She was the wife of Larry E. Garloff. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on September 2, 2021.
Born in Camp Strause on April 20, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Allen H. and Erla (Bordner) Schaeffer. She worked as a store clerk at the Bell & Evans retail store for many years. She had attended Victory Lighthouse in years past. Helen enjoyed reading, coffee, collecting Indian dolls, dancing, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Larry E. husband of Kim Dawkins-Garloff, II, of Lebanon; daughters Bambi L. wife of Bill Beard of Lebanon, Robin A. wife of Alan Day of Holly Ridge, NC, and Kris L. Delgado of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and sister Mabel Zombro of Jonestown. She is preceded in death by brothers Charles H., Allen D., and Robert F. Schaeffer, and sisters Hilda R. Helms and Erla K. Garrison.
A graveside service will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. On the memo line write, "In Memory of Helen E. Garloff of Lebanon Co., PA."
