Helen Gasbarri Obituary
Helen was born in Aliquippa, PA to Nazzareno Ceccarelli and Lucia Arduini on July 20, 1928.She went to Aliquippa High. She met her future husband at a local dance. She married Dominic Gasbarri on July 15, 1950 in Aliquippa, PA. She was involved with the Catholic Church early on and a consummate room parent in her children's school.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband Dominic Gasbarri, sons Louis and Ronald Gasbarri, and many of her relatives.
Helen is survived by her daughter Donna Widawski,(Louis), Robert Gasbarri(Juley) her grandchildren Gabrielle Risi(Tony), Samantha Hamner(Clinton), and Gina Gasbarri. She held a special love in her heart for her great-grandchildren, Reagan,Amelia, Troy, Sutton,Luca,and August.
Helen always saw the good in people. She had lots of love for her family and friends. There is a saying that Helen loved too much! Her cooking, especially Italian cooking, gave her such pleasure!
Visitation will be held at Mountcastle-Turch funeral home at 13318 Occoquan Road Woodbridge, Va on November 13, 2025 at 10:00 am. Her burial is at Quantico National Cemetery.
The family of Helen Gasbarri wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Garg, Dr. Ali, and all the nurses that attended to her at the Reston Hospital Center in Fairfax.
