Helen Ignasiak Obituary
Helen J. Ignasiak, age 98, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Spring Meadows Nursing Home, Holland, OH. She was born on April 28, 1926, in Toledo, OH, to Victor and Josephine (Dupcinski) Zmijewski. Helen worked as a computer operator for Owens Illinois and Pinkerton Insurance. She also was a dance instructor at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Her memberships included the Golden Emblem Club and the Maumee Seniors.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Ignasiak, in 1996; sister, Sophie Kowalski; and brothers, Joseph and Stanley Zmijewski. Surviving are nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, March 17, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Gerald Chmiel presiding. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Donations may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Condolences may be shared at www.sujkowski.com.

My mom and dad Ray and Jenny Schlievert were good friends of Helen and Don. My sister, Marcia and I are sorry to hear of Helen´s passing. She lived a good long life. My mom passed of old age
at 94 1/2 7 yrs ago. She and Helen were good friends and Helen was in their wedding. May she rest in peace.
