Helen Koth Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Andrus Koth, age 80, of Houston, Texas, who peacefully entered eternal rest on April 26, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 14, 1944, in Eunice, Louisiana, to Chester Andrus and Ethelinda Jemison Andrus.

Surrounded by her beloved family, Helen departed this life as she lived it - with grace, strength, and an unwavering faith in God. Her life was a testament to fierce loyalty, deep compassion, and boundless love. Family was everything to Helen, and her friends quickly became family, welcomed with open arms and an open heart. She built a home and a life grounded in selflessness, steadfast devotion, and a door always open to those in need.

Helen's faith was the cornerstone of her being, guiding her through every joy and every challenge with peace, understanding, and hope. She lived each day with gratitude, humility, and a heart firmly trusting in God's plan, serving as a quiet but powerful example to all who knew her.

Her legacy of love, resilience, and faith lives on through her children, grandchildren, extended family, and the many friends whose lives she touched. Helen's spirit will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know and love her.

A service to honor and celebrate Helen's life will be held on May 5, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Klein Funeral Home, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, Texas 77354.

Helen will be deeply missed, but we find comfort knowing she is now at peace, embraced forever by the love of her Savior.
