Helen Kovach Obituary

Helen Kovach, 97, of Frackville, passed away on Oct. 1, 2024 at Tremont Health & Rehab, Tremont.

She was the wife of the late Andrew Kovach. Born in Shenandoah, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Glowa) Donchak. Helen was a homemaker as well as a retired seamstress from Model Garment Company. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville.

She as predeceased by a daughter, Mary Ann Powanda; daughter-in-law, Debbie Kovach; two grandchildren, Lisa and Joseph.

Surviving is one son, Andrew Kovach Jr., Lebanon; two grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be private upon the families wishes. Burial will be at St. Michael's Parish Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville.
