Helen Link Obituary
She was born March 2, 1933, to the late Russell Owen and Noveta Marie (nee Holt) Baucom; She married Ivar Matthew Link on February 21, 1950, and he preceded her in death.
Helen was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, cooking and making ceramics. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone needing her assistance.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kerrie Alan Link; three brothers: Richard "Sonny" Baucom, Jerry Baucom and John Baucom; and three sisters: Shirley Carlton, Jeannie Rose, and Judy Endsley.
Surviving are her four children: Marsha Cain of North GA, Linda (Leroy) Robinson of Marine, IL, Kelly Link of Collinsville, IL, and Todd (Anne) Link of Glen Carbon, IL; one brother, Bill (Beth) Baucom of Akron, OH; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Ivar. Funeral procession will leave at 12:15 p.m. from Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
