Helen "Patty" (Aston) Lovett, of Carnegie, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Wife of the late Harold Lovett. Mother of Lorraine (late Gregory) Jones. Grandmother of Alissa Jones. Great-grandmother of Devanii Jones-Lucas. Great-great grandmother of Xavior Clark, Xyaire Jones-Parks, Mya Jones-Parks and Ayla Jones-Parks. Daughter of the late William and Helen Aston, Sister of Kenneth (Sereda) Aston, Warren (Tami) Aston, Margaret "Kym" Aston and the late Betty Boyce, William Aston, Raymond (living Sandra) Aston, Norma Parker, Arthur Aston and James Aston. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Patty was born in Carnegie, PA on March 29th, 1931. She was the daughter of the late William Aston and Helen Aston. She was the third born child of 10. She was educated through the Carnegie School system. Patty and Harold Lovett were married in 1949. To this Union was born one child, Lorraine Lovett Jones. Patty was employed as a caregiver for more than 30 years of her life.
She had a love for interior design, beautiful artwork and she loved to cook. In her earlier years she had dreams of being a nurse or an opera singer.
Patty welcomed her family and friends with open arms always when visited. She made sure that everyone was fed and felt like they were at home.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Great-great grandmother.
Family and Friends are being received on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Leo J. Henney Funeral Home, 323
Second Avenue, Carnegie. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday in Second Baptist Church, 324 Mansfield Blvd, Carnegie at
11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Chartiers Cemetery, 801 Noblestown Road, Carnegie. www.leohenneyfuneralhome.com
