Helen K. Masters, born on June 25, 1933, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, after a long illness, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that touched the lives of many.
Helen, known to her friends and family as a cherished companion and dedicated caregiver, enjoyed a fulfilling career as a secretary while also embracing the role of homemaker with grace. She was a proud graduate of Coraopolis High School, where she laid the foundation for a life marked by warmth and kindness.
As a mother and grandmother, Helen's love for her family was unwavering. She is survived by her son, Robert Masters, and her daughter, Deborah Servitto. Her grandson, Anthony Servitto, also carries her spirit forward with fond memories of the time they shared. Helen's heart was further warmed by the companionship of her cousin, Kitty Scott, who was close to her throughout her life.
Helen's personality was a beacon of light, loved by all who knew her. Her passion for animals was evident in her home, filled with the joyful barks of rescued dogs and the cheerful melodies of cats, parrots, and canaries. She dedicated her life to rescuing and caring for animals, reflecting her profound empathy and nurturing spirit. In quieter moments, she found solace in the pages of a good book, indulging in her love for reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Morris and Helen Morris, who surely guided her in the values of love and kindness that she passed on to her own family.
Helen Masters will be remembered not just for her roles in life, but for the love she shared and the lives she touched. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
