Helen "Lavonia" Mobley

Lavonia (Helen) Mobley went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 6, 2022. She is survived by her children, Timothy Mobley (Kathy) and Tina Mobley-Burnett (Bobby); her siblings J.T. Clark (Pat), Marshall Clark (Joyce), Denton Clark (Candy), Carolyn Blackwell, Wanda Skipper (Donnie), Doyle Clark; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Mobley; four brothers; two sisters; and one grandson.
Lavonia was as sassy and feisty as they come – she also had a heart of gold. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She treasured time spent with family and friends. Lavonia was an exceptional cook, she was famous for her scratch made biscuits and jelly. She loved shopping, and was always up for a trip to Walmart. She was a crossword enthusiast, she could spend hours with her puzzles.
Lavonia was a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She treasured her time there and made many friends over the years. A memorial service will be held at the church on Saturday, October 15th at 12pm. Following the service, please join the family for a repast in the Church's fellowship building.
