Helen Ann Nelson, age 89, of Champlin, MN, passed away peacefully at her home on March 4, 2026.
There will be a celebration of life at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel Hillside Chapel, with the visitation beginning at 2:00 pm.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; parents, John and Helen Rusinko; her baby brother, John Adam Rusinko; her mother-in-law, Alice Nelson; and her favorite uncle, Daniel Macko.
She was a loving mother to:

Helen was a proud grandmother to her beautiful and talented grandchildren:

In her own words:
"I have led a wonderful life and was blessed with love and happiness from my family. I'm sad to be leaving them, but I know we will be reunited someday. I look forward to seeing my husband Roger, my parents, Uncle Dan, Alice, and Wendell the Wonder Dog again.
In lieu of flowers, make a deposit in your savings account and think of me once in a while.
