With heavy hearts and the deepest love, the family of Helen Catherine Palmiero announces her passing. Born on October 12, 1956, in Bayonne, New Jersey, Helen remained a lifelong resident of the community she cherished and the people she loved. A woman of Christian faith, kindness, and devotion, she lived each day with purpose, prayer, and warmth that touched every life around her.

Helen shared 47 years with her beloved husband, Anthony Palmiero, with whom she built a life of commitment, laughter, and steady love. She is also survived by her daughter and only child, Gina Michele Palmiero, son-in-law William Ryan, Jr., and her adored grand-dogs Otis & Ruby, all of whom brought her endless joy. Helen's love extends to her sister-in-law Anna Palmiero, and her niece & nephew, Nina & Joseph McNally, whom she held close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother Olga Hotra, father Stephen Hotra, and brother-in-law Luigi Palmiero, who she now reunites with in eternal peace.

A loyal follower of Christ, Helen was a devoted member of Grace Bible Fellowship in Bayonne, where she found identity, friendships, fellowship, and strength in her walk with the Lord. Her faith was unwavering, and she carried it with grace – praying with conviction, loving with gentleness, and shining her light through example.

Proud of her Ukrainian-American heritage, Helen carried her culture, memories, and family history with her always. She honored, treasured, and shared her roots with those she loved.

Helen worked for many years as a clerical employee and was known as an exceptionally skilled typist. In her retirement, she embraced the joys of her family, peace at home, and the everyday blessings God placed before her. She will forever be remembered for her love, laughter, sincerity, and the sweetness of her spirit. Fun, genuine, honest, funny, and kind – she blessed others simply by just being herself, and her memory lives on in the hearts she leaves behind.
