Thank you Helen for being such a wonderful person in my life. Even after Roberts passing, you remained my friend all these years. Birthday cards, humorous emails, I loved the Halloween emails, lol. I will miss our phone calls and how we would laugh at news topics. You had the strength of a herd of elephants and your love and kindness I will never forget. Thank you my friend, you are truly loved and missed. ❤

I grew up on Mac Duff St. and across the street from Helen and Charlie. My heartfelt memory coming to mind and bespeaks to your Moms caring and generous character is when my mom passed. Your mom new I was struggling with preparing my parents home for sale, she jumped right in and helped me organize and coordinate a mini estates sale ( actually truth be told, she shouldered most of the work and I assisted her) I could not have done it without her help.
When I would return to California on vacation, I would always stop by and throughout the years we talked occasionally and exchanged e-cards on holidays.
The Mac Duffers in heaven have opened up the gates.
I will always think of your mom fondly..

Helen and I had this thing after I married and moved from Mac Duff when I would come and visit my family. It was sticking our tongues out at each other when I would drive by or if we saw one another out front her in her yard and me in my Mom's. It was our affection for one another saying Hi
All you Mac Duffers enjoy each other up there, we will all have our great street in Heaven and continue on.
My heart goes out to your family Helen, you are missed

The first time I met Helen was at a family event. To me it was it was obvious and unwavering that family was first for Helen. There was a subtle challenge to see if I understood how important family was, I did. I said my mother was a strong protective woman with a German Polish background. She smiled but said nothing. I smiled. Then we both laughed. I was so impressed by her from that moment on. We stayed in touch sporadically the last few years but when we did it was heartfelt. I will miss her wry sense of humor and the smirk when she knew someone else had missed the joke.
My heart goes out to the Reilley family. She was unique.
