Helen Rosser Obituary
Mrs. Rosser grew up near Elkton and attended Elkton High School. She was a member of the Church of Solsburg and enjoyed gardening, canning and traveling to North Carolina to visit relatives. She retired from Genie Company in Shenandoah after 33 years of service.
Mrs. Rosser is survived by her husband, James E. Rosser; a brother, Winston Turner and wife, Becky; step-children, Kenny Rosser & wife, Angie, Jimmy Rosser, Dwayne Rosser Sr. & wife, Tina, Marsha Rosser & husband, Shane; seven step-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny Turner, Earl Turner, Charles Turner, Owen Turner; sisters, Betty Moubray & husband, Carroll, Ellen Flynn, Linda Sue Turner; step-great-granddaughter, Lakelynn Loraine White.
Pastor David Burrell will conduct the funeral service 2 p.m., Thursday January 8, 2026 at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton. Burial will follow at Cross Keys Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Helen was a precious lady and my babysitter during elementary school. I remember her kindness and she always made me feel right at home. I'm sorry to hear of her passing and would like to offer my sincerest condolences to her family and loved ones.
