I have a painting titled Colonel Leonard by Herbert W. Lindsey in 1968. I have been trying to find family to see if they would like it. I saw that this gentleman painted like his father and was hoping it was the right family. Either way, my deepest condolences for your family in this trying time. And all the best wishes for your future.

Uncle Herb was my very favorite Uncle, what I loved about him, as how much attention he paid to my children when we visited. He would always get them into a game of cards and let them win. They thought he was something very special, and he was, to all of us. We miss him still. R.I. P. Uncle Herb. My god bless and keep you, until we meet again. Niece: Carol Oatman.

Thinking of all of you and when we were neighbors. Loved Herb’s sense of humor and he always had a smile. Hope you all are doing good. Tom passed December12, 2019. I know how you feel Rita. My life will never be the same. My dad has been gone 20 years and I miss him everyday so I know how his children feel. We will all meet again one day. Prayers for all of you

Of course we will miss everything about Uncle Herb, but I think his Sense of Humor is what I will miss most. He always had an antidote or Joke to share. He was well loved by myself, Carol Oatman (his niece) and my Family. My boys , John , Dave, and Mike, loved playing card games with Uncle Herbie whenever we visited. Herb got a kick out of letting them win. He will be missed and will still be loved.
