Funeral services will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Monday, March 16, 2026.
Visitation 8:30 am to 9:30 am
Rosary 9:30 am
Funeral Service Mass to start right after the Rosary.
Graveside will follow the Funeral Service Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
Helen attended St. Mary's Catholic School through 4th grade. She then attended West ISD and graduated from West High School in 1971. She has been a member of KJZT since age 9.

Survivors: Husband: Jessie Sanchez Jr, Son: Jessie Sanchez III & wife Shauna. Grandkids Kimball, Jacoby, and Gavin. Daughter Kasey Sanchez. Brother: Edwin Prnka & wife Annette, nephew Jeremy Prnka & wife Justyn. Niece Jennifer Jares & husband Garrett
Pallbearers: Jessie Sanchez III, Jacoby Sanchez, Gavin Sanchez, Jeremy Prnka, Garrett Jares, Christian Bruner, Richard Garza & Mateo Garza.
Helen was a master seamstress who poured love and skill into everything she made. In her younger years, East Bernard and Brazos High School would reach out to her to make their cheerleader outfits.
One of Helen's favorite things to do was watching her grandsons play in the front yard and riding their bikes. She also loved watching her granddaughter dance and spin her color guard flag in the front yard.
Helen loved baking all kinds of treats for her family. It was very important to her that you let her know if something she made was especially good or if something was missing. In her spare time, Helen enjoyed going to estate sales with her husband and searching for hidden gems. She collected many antiques and loved refurbishing them alongside him.
There was rarely a moment that you wouldn't find Helen outside enjoying her Garden Oasis. She filled her yard with beautiful plants and flowers and took great pride in keeping her landscaping well cared for. Every holiday season, she would put out decorations for everyone to enjoy.
Helen lived a life filled with love, creativity, and dedication to her family. Her loving heart, creative hands and devotion to her family will forever remain a treasured part of those who knew and loved her.
