Helen Marie Swan

Helen Marie (Trombley) Swan, age 65, of Elwell passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland. She was born on April 17, 1960, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Roy and Nettie (Hazzard) Trombley. Helen married Thomas Swan on October 4, 1980, in St. Louis.
Helen enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing, riding her bike, and mowing grass. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, doing crossword puzzles and going to yard sales with her daughter. Being with her family was her greatest joy.
Helen is survived by her husband Thomas Swan; her daughter Michelle (David Peterson) Trombley; grandchildren Kamden, Landon, Nova, Shianna; her sisters Rita Erskin, Nancy Erskin, Donna Trombley; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews; and her adopted family Coy and Connie Allen.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Swan; her parents; and a sister Mary Lilly.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 2 pm at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Riverdale. Interment will follow in Richland Township Cemetery, Vestaburg. Visitation will be held from 12 pm until the time of services at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
