Marjorie was born August 29, 1944, in Alma, the daughter of Joseph and Melva (Barnhill) Mayfield. She graduated from Alma High School and married Kendall B. Pratt on April 11, 1971.
Marjorie worked in sales at Jarrett Jewelers, Walgreens and Tractor Supply all in Mt. Pleasant, before her retirement. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Alma. Marjorie was an avid Detroit Lions and NASCAR fan. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, gardening and reading.
She is survived by her son Jason Mayfield; granddaughter Alexandra (Rodney) Andrews; step-children Theresa (Michael) Zygmunt, Jim Pratt, Joe (Nicole) Pratt; special friend Julie Abbott.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kendall; brother Douglas Mayfield; and sister Mildred Meger.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 2 pm at Seville Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Riverdale.
