Nancy Kay Teed

Nancy Kay Teed, age 80, of Elm Hall passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center Alma, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 6, 1945, in Carson City, Michigan, the daughter of Vernie and Beulah (Markham) Ball. Nancy married Rex Teed on October 27, 1990, a blessed union of 35 years.
After graduating from high school, Nancy attended beauty college and worked in cosmetology for several years. She would later spend many years working at IAC in Alma before her retirement.
Nancy was a faithful member of the Edmore Church of God. She enjoyed camping and found great joy in dancing. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her husband Rex; children Billy Schultheiss, Robert Schultheiss, Jason Teed, Keri (Jerome) Tillman; grandchildren Jordan (JD), Jackie, Derek (Braven), Avery, Domenick (Nicole), Tiffany, Jasmine; five great-grandchildren; a sister Virgiline Brownridge; and a brother Jon (Vivian) Ball.
She was preceded in death by a grandson R.J. Schultheiss; her parents Vernie and Beulah; and brothers Denny, Ranny, and Bruce Ball.
Cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to be held in the spring. Interment will be held at a later date in Sumner Center Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Edmore Church of God.
