Roger Allen Bell, age 77, of St. Louis, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant. He was born on March 25, 1948, in Alma, the youngest child of Bernard and Mary Ruth (Hopkins) Bell. He was a graduate of St. Louis High School and proudly served his country in the Unites States Navy during the Vietnam War from May 9, 1967, until his honorable discharge on June 30, 1970. Roger was a member of the Alma VFW. He married Elizabeth "Liz" Ringle on January 19, 2021.

Roger worked for over 25 years at the Soaring Eagle Casino as a Count Team Member before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his youth and loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed woodworking and was an avid Tigers fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Roger is survived by his wife Liz Ringle; children Tracy (Brent) Evans, Shannon (Mark) Rappe, Scott (Emily) Bell; grandchildren Ashleigh (Matt) Walker, Cory (Brittany) Weddington, Brogan Evans, Madison Rappe, Andrew Rappe, Hayden Brammer, Keegan Brammer, Wesley Bell, Willow Bell; and great-grandchildren Piper Weddington and Briggs Tanner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma. Interment will follow in Chapel Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 am until the time of services at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alma VFW.
