HELEN TKAC (nee Kavulic) age 104, of Lyndhurst, OH. Beloved wife of the late Michael L.; loving mother of Rosemarie Pesti and Lawrence (Linda); dearest grandmother of Christopher, Kevin, Catherine (Kalman) Poroszlai, Alice and Emily; dear great grandmother of Victoria, Sophia and Eva; predeceased by 6 brothers and 1 sister. Helen was born in the United States on December 17, 1920, and shortly afterwards, at the age of 9 months went to Czechoslovakia, and returned to the States at the age of 13. She came to Cleveland at the age of 21 and began working at National Screw Co. where she met her husband to be, Michael. Helen also worked at Weldon Tool for 30 years from where she had retired. She was an active and avid parishioner at St. Benedict Parish in Cleveland and St. Gregory the Great Parish in S. Euclid. Helen went on to do God’s work for her family and for the many religious organizations that she belonged to.
Friends and family will be received at St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway Ave, Bedford, OH 44146 on Friday, August 1 from 3 P.M. – 7 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 1545 Green Rd., S. Euclid, OH 44121 on Saturday, August 2 at 10 A.M (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
