Helen R. Todd, 86, of Louisiana, MO, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at the Tri-County Nursing Home in Vandalia, MO. Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana, MO. The Rev. Cole Branstetter will officiate.

Helen was born on April 16, 1939 in Middletown, MO to Floyd Butler and Alta Marie Keithley Butler. She was married to William G. Todd on July 20, 1958 at the Centenary United Methodist Church in Louisiana, MO and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2005.

She is survived by a son Rodney William Todd, a daughter Jennifer Bunch (Todd), 2 grandchildren Christopher William Todd and Anthony Celano, 4 great grandchildren Jordan Todd, Justin Todd, Jaxon Todd, and Jase Todd, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband William G. Todd, her parents Floyd and Alta Marie Butler, 4 sisters Mary Brewster, Martha Delozier, Dorothy Hinkle, and Sue Messmer, and 4 brothers John Butler, Clarence Butler, Keith Butler, and Richard Butler.

Helen was a home maker on their farm in rural Louisiana, MO working along side her husband Bill. She would do many things associated with farming life. After 47 years on the farm, she moved into the city of Louisiana. She was a member of the Methodist church, and enjoyed sewing, word puzzles, reading, going to garage sales with friends, playing cards, drinking coffee with her gal pals every Thursday, and most importantly she kept her family grounded.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Celano, Jordan Todd, Justin Todd, Dennis Bunch, Rodney Todd, and Christopher Todd.

Memorials may be made to the Pike County Home Care and Hospice. Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent at collierfuneral.com.
