Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 28, 2026 at St. James Baptist Church, 2150 High Falls Road, Jackson, GA 30233. Burial in Laodicea Baptist Church Cemetery, 101 Westbrooks Road, Forsyth, GA 31029. Service is scheduled to be Streamed Live on our Facebook Page.

Public viewing will be Friday, February 27th from 2:00 PM-7:00 PM. Family visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM. Keep the family in prayer.

Ms. Helen Webb Ward was born on March 7, 1931 in Monroe County, Georgia to the late Josie Cone Robinson. She departed this life on February 20, 2026.

She is preceded in death by three sons, Willie Morris (Bo-Pete) Ward, Robert Ward, Cornell Ward; five sisters, Daisy Mae Head, Liza Jane Stanley, Minnie Pearl Robinson, Claudia Evans, and Lizzie Mae Ogletree; six brothers, Garfield Webb, John Henry Webb, Eddie Joe Robinson, Jimmy Robinson, Smith Webb, and Will Webb.

At an early age, she joined Laodicea Baptist Church and served on the Usher 's Board and the Mother's Board. Later she joined St. James Baptist Church in Jackson and served on the Mother's Board. Helen was employed by Hill Top Nursing Home until her retirement.

Helen leaves to cherish her memories of four daughters Katherine (Tommy Joe Sr.) Goodrum of Jackson, GA, Elizabeth (Henry Lee Sr.) Smith Jackson, GA, Julia (Randy) Usher of North Carolina, Margaret Mayes of Atlanta, GA; daughters-in-law, Beverly Ward of Atlanta, GA and Shirley Head of Forsyth, GA; and one living son Raymond (Charlotte) Ward of Flovilla, GA; one brother, Owen Robinson of Lakeland, FL; one sister in law Bessie Lee Evans of Atlanta, GA; 21 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends
