Helen Wright

Helen A. Wright, On January 17, 2026, by the grace of God, Helen was reunited with her family in Heaven. She was born on April 7, 1929, to Sibley and Donna Austin Wright in Cutting, NY.

Helen graduated at the top of her class in Clymer, NY and went on to Graduate from Jamestown Business College. She held various secretarial positions throughout her long career.

Helen attended Kidder United Methodist Church for many years. She lived a life of service, first to her faith in our Lord Jesus, then to her family and friends. Although she resided in Jamestown most of her adult life, she spent weekends in Cutting and later French Creek helping her mother and father. After her mother passed, she took in her father and cared for him until his passing. For those who knew Helen well, she will be remembered for her love of chocolate and desserts.

Helen was preceded in death by an infant sister Elizabeth, her brother, SSG Merle Wright who was killed in WWII, her parents, her sisters, Ruth (Wilfred) Wallace, Kathleen (James) Carpenter and Rachel (Salvatore) Elia, and her nieces, Christine Billman and Carol McAdams.

Helen is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their children.

Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi's Hubert Funeral Home.

Services will not be observed.

The family would like to thank the staff at Berquist and Heritage Park for their care.
