Helen Zaborniak

Helen Zaborniak who graced this earth for 95 years passed away peacefully at home 5 days after her birthday. She was married for 51 years to the love of her life, Alfred "Al" Zaborniak until his death in 2002. She was the loving mother of Gregory (Mary) and Michael (Barbara) Zaborniak. Dear grandmother of Mark (Kelly) and Eric (Hannah). Great grandmother of Tyson and Cecilia. Dear sister of Edward (Joan) Rosmus and Helen was preceded in death by her siblings, late Lottie (late Rudolph) Mrozek and late Lillian (late William) Szendzial. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Helen lived her life with love, courage, dignity and pride. She was a member of St. Joseph Ladies of the Rosary and St. Joseph's Choir and a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local #710. Helen's family is comforted knowing that she received the best end of life care that anyone could ever hope for from her loving caregivers, Carol, Cindy, Ana, Samantha, Amanda and Violet and Gentiva Hospice. Her family will miss her enduring love, but take comfort in knowing she lived a long and blessed life, full of love, joy and adventure and that she will be welcomed into the arms of the loved ones who preceded her and be together with them at the side of our Lord. Visitation is Friday, February 7, 2025 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 AM until time of Prayers at 11 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Daniel the Prophet Church for an 11:30 AM Mass. Helen will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Resurrection Cemetery.
