Helena M. Luxton

Helena M. (Donaghue) Luxton, age 95, of Easton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Beloved wife of 44 years to the late Carroll Luxton, Helena was born on October 23, 1930, to the late Helen (Greer) and Thomas Donaghue. A lifelong resident of Easton, she graduated with the Class of 1949 from Oliver Ames High School.

Mrs. Luxton was a devoted parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in North Easton, where she served faithfully as a Eucharistic minister for many years. She also held the distinguished position of State Regent for the Massachusetts chapter of the Daughters of Isabella and gave generously of her time as a volunteer at the Easton Food Pantry. Additionally, Helena was an active and dedicated member of the Red Hat Society, cherishing the friendships and camaraderie she found there.

Helena is survived by her loving son, Robert, and her devoted daughter, Janet. She also leaves behind her cherished sister, Patricia. She was predeceased by her siblings: Hugh, Danny, Thomas, James, and Teresa McAndrews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, December 8, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center Street, North Easton, MA 02356. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 9, at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 193 Main Street, North Easton, MA 02356. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 97 Canton Street, North Easton, MA 02356. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in Helena's name to the Immaculate Conception Church, North Easton.
